Heartwarming / Red Shoes and the Seven Dwarfs

• Snow White is being bullied by guards, Merlin and Arthur overlooked her ^note  she wasn't wearing her red shoes and she's left to fend for herself. But as the guards corner her, a mysteriously powerful surge of electricity zaps them out! Snow White is surprised to see it was Merlin, who saw this stranger in trouble and decided to help out of spontaneous kindness. Not only does it testify Merlin isn't one to let his curse stop him from being a hero, it marks the beginning of Snow White falling in love with him for who he is.
• When the Magic Mirror shares exposition about the tree of Magic Apples that Snow White will become, Merlin asks "And then what?" The Mirror then says "Regina will be the most beautiful woman in the kingdom forever." To that, Merlin says "I don't care about her! What's going to happen to Snow White?" This is sweet, considering that Merlin's curse can only be lifted when he kisses "the most beautiful woman in the world." At this point, it's no longer about who can break his curse so much as it is about saving the one person who cared about him despite his dwarf form.
• "You're the most beautiful girl, eyes open or eyes closed..."
• The brief glimpses at Arthur's, Jack's, and Hans' love stories in the credits. In Arthur's case, he falls in love with a Red Riding Hood who turns into a werewolf, reassuring her when she's ashamed at her monstrous appearance. A mermaid who's a fish head on a human body offers a pearl to Jack, and he tosses it aside to dance with her. Hans' stew wakes up Sleeping Beauty and she eats it messily since she's starving, but he's just overjoyed to see someone who loves food as much as he does.
