"She was an angel of kindness."note
  • The first two-thirds of Puss' flashback to his childhood, from Imelda taking him in to his becoming blood brothers with fellow outcast Humpty Dumpty.
  • Much of Puss and Imelda's interactions, especially when he calls her "Mama" for the first time.
  • This exchange:
    Humpty: I'm a rotten egg! I'm not a person, I'm not a bird, I'm not even a food! I don't know what I am!
Puss: (reaches out to him) You are what you have always been... my brother.
Humpty: (smiling as he reaches to take his hand) Brothers forever...
  • Humpty's Heroic Sacrifice, and the revelation that he was a golden egg himself all along. And then the geese take him home with them.
Puss: Humpty...?! [Beat] I always knew you were good inside. (smiles and nods somberly)
  • Puss and Kitty's relationship on a whole is definitely this; just the way they click together so well, and are so perfectly at ease with each other is so heartwarming sans the time Puss realized she was actually working with Humpty, but she redeems herself by pulling a Big Damn Heroes moment.
  • While breaking Puss out of prison and asks for forgiveness, Andy Beanstalk instantly accepts her apology, despite the fact that she was actually talking to Puss.
Kitty: I hope you can forgive me.
    Andy: Apology accepted!
  • The Three Diablos short is 90% composed of this, as Puss takes in three mercenary kittens under his wing, naming them and helping them reform from a life of crime.
  • Puss establishing that he doesn't steal from churches or orphans.
  • The happy smile on the Great Terror's face when she finally reunites with her baby. She then takes Humpty Dumpty's true golden egg form with her back to her nest. Essentially bringing Humpty where he truly belonged.
