• Once Xerneas changes into its tree form after calming Yveltal. Xerneas is still able to communicate, assuring Diancie that it is not dying, merely fulfilling its purpose in replenishing and revitalizing the forest.
• After being rival thieves throughout the film, during the end credits. Riot and Merilyn are shown not only getting along, Riot goes so far as to ask Merilyn to marry him.
