• Itzak's backstory. He was as war orphan from the ethnic conflicts that raged in the Serengeti region of Africa just after the Invid Invasion. A soldier found him in a burned-down village. That soldier took the boy in to his household and adopted him, regardless of whether Itzak was of the "right" ethnic descent.
  • The kicker? Ebrahim knew that his son was not human.
• Gabe asking Itzak to look after the privateer, when he expects both of them to flee to Nairobi.
• Gabe and company joining Colonel Wheatley's crew. They wanted a place to belong, and managed to find it after escaping Purifier territory.
  • In relation to that, Wheatley learning that Walera Gashtar was alive and well.
• Alazar Aboudi reassuring Gabe after barely rescuing the privateer and Itzak from a band of cannibals, telling the young officer he has a strong foundation.
• Gabe flying an Alpha veritech, a year after he crash landed on Earth.
• Alazar Aboudi's reunion with a soldier that he had served with, who is now a Raj in India.
  • The Raj offering Aboudi full tuition for nursing school.
  • Aboudi, in turn, continuing with Gabe and company, with the Raj's blessing.
• the privateer broadcasting a message to the Moon base on behalf of her and Gabe's families, before going down to Earth to rejoin her friends.
• The Ides of March Ball in the old Robotech Research Center. Gabe and the privateer get to have a formal dance, dressed in their best attire.
• Itzak asking the privateer to fix a handheld video game after Gabe died. Fixing that video game system helped her heal.
• The revelation that Itzak is an Invid comes with heartwarming moments.
  • when Itzak is threatened by a commando team leader, Laureline calls him her brother and swears to avenge him.
  • Itzak makes a declaration to the Invid Regess, that he was adopted by Ebrahim Mlama and raised by him, and lived as a human.
• Max Sterling revealing that his son (who was stranded on Earth) was still alive and will meet him.
  • Not to mention that Maia gets to meet her big brother for the first time.
• The privateer meeting with Gabe's mother and little brother and looking at a photo album of printed photos.
• The privateer's homecoming.
• The privateer's reunion with Itzak, after the rescue of the SDF-3.
• Gabe's father returning home and being comforted by his wife after hearing his son was killed in combat.
