  • The scene at the end of "The Creed" where Steve tells Barry how he'll be brand new when he recovers from his appendectomy is the epitome of heartwarming...
    • Fitzhugh's treatment of Barry in that episode is also pretty moving—it really shows his soft side, the latter part of Jerk with a Heart of Gold.
    • That entire episode in general is kind of one heartwarming moment after another—especially the dedication they all have to the cause of making sure Barry does not die.
  • In the episode "Land of the Lost", Barry's declaration that he would be the one least missed really shows his devotion toward his friends.
  • Dan being so protective of Betty in "Panic" is extremely sweet...
    • For that matter, so was Mark's great concern for Betty in "The Unsuspected" after she goes missing. He ran back to camp like a headless chicken... It didn't help that he was bleeding pretty badly and kept falling over, yet his first concern was for her. Cue Ship-to-Ship Combat...
  • Don Matheson's real life story about how he used to give lines to Heather Young just makes you grin ear to ear.
  • Fitzhugh's interaction with the children in "Night of Thrombeldinbar" was very sweet with him clearly taking genuine joy in making the children laugh. Again showing off his Jerk with a Heart of Gold tendencies, he intentionally chose to stick around longer than he needed to to bring a bit of fun into their lives.
