- He may not have had the chance to reunite with the Princess as Gauma, but the movie gave him a chance to do so as Rex. Everyone's favorite mummy guy finally got some closure.
- Speaking of closure, Yomogi mentioned that he had a bunch of things he wanted to tell Gauma, so getting to meet him as Rex was undoubtedly cathartic for him.
- When Gridman apologizes to Yuta for possessing him for two months, the latter holds no grudges against him, as doing so did more good than harm. Yuta even thanks him, as without him, Akane wouldn't have been saved.
- Akane solidifies her Heel–Face Turn by showing up to help the cast, not because the GRIDMAN cast are her creations, but because they're her friends.
- Anti finally manages to have a proper goodbye with Akane and thank her for creating him.
- Once Akane returns to her world, she starts picking up the trash by the riverbank and is joined by several friends helping her, a far cry from the sheltered girl whose apartment in the Computer World was littered with trash bags.
- Yuta finally works up the nerve to ask Rikka to be his girlfriend...and she accepts.
- During the confession, Rikka admits to being grateful that it took Yuta so long to confess, as it gave her time to get to know him and develop feelings for him too.

- When Yuta worries he’s screwed up and upset Rikka, he contacts Yomogi for advice. In response Yomogi and Yume cross over to Yuta’s universe to advise him face-to-face (also because Yume thought it would be funny to be present in person).
