Trailer
- While most of the fake social media videos in the trailer are meant to be humorous, one of them is shown to be a tribute to somebody deceased. The video of a man hanging out the door of his pickup truck with a custom green paint job is accompanied by the following caption:
- RIP Rudi - CU in heaven, cuz.
- A Freeze-Frame Bonus near the reveal trailer's end shows that the shop being robbed has a "PETTY FOREVER" sticker on its front door. Between that and the choice of song for the reveal trailer, it feels like someone at Rockstar Games really wanted to pay tribute to the lead of the Heartbreakers, who passed away between the releases of V and VI.
- A good amount of the trailer is spent seeing people genuinely having fun and enjoying themselves, from car meets, to nightclubs, to boat races, to beach hangouts. It's a good reminder that despite the presence of the GTA-style satire we all know and love, it's still just a video game that's meant to be fun to play.
