Heartwarming / Every Witch Way

• The subplot between Sophie and her love interest, a chameleon Maddie turns into a boy because she mistook it for Daniel (whom she turned into a lizard) who she named "Beau" in Season 1. Beau explaining to Sophie that he misses his family and Sophie asking Maddie to turn him back and letting him go is the most emotional part of the show so far.
  • Maddie even admits to thinking they're a cute couple.
  • A similar subplot between Andi and a zombie from a video game Emma brings to life by accident in Season 2.
• When Maddie thinks Principal Torres killed Emma, she was really upset. They might have not gotten along, but she didn't want to see her die.
• Diego and the Panthers rescuing Maddie after Maddie in turn rescued the rest of the Witches' Council from Desdemona's prison in the Season 2 finale, with Deigo being rewarded with The Big Damn Kiss. It's probably the most heartwarming scene of that whole season.
• When Maddie is offended by Mia stealing Daniel from Emma, standing up for Emma (and even finally admitting that Emma didn't "steal" Daniel from Maddie herself because they were broken up).
• An understated moment in "Outta Hand": Andi finds Maddie in tears. Maddie makes for the janitor's closet and Andi immediately follows her inside and cheers her up. Again, this is Andi going out of her way to cheer up Maddie, despite barely being able to stand her. And Maddie is genuinely grateful. She doesn't even toss off a smart remark.
• Maddie going through one of Diego's portals to rescue the Witches' Council, complete strangers to her, without knowing for sure whether she'll make it back or not.
• Emma protecting Mia from the Witches' Council in the Season 3 finale, even knowing everything that Mia has done.
