• Veleg accepting the Doctor's offer to stay on as a permanent companion. First Librarian Veleg of the Tardis!
• The Master's Christmas gifts, which, for the most part, are surprisingly thoughtful (although he had help from the Tardis).
  • Veleg merely gets a simple "#1 Reader" ribbon pin, but he treats it as a badge of honor, sharing it with Meatstick.
  • Roko receives a large gourmet opalescent scarab beetle, a delicacy for carnivorous plants.
  • Finn receives a mouse in a cage... to feed to her actual gift, a banana snake, formerly belonging to Tall Jim.
  • The Corsair gets taken on a shopping trip^note although knowing these two, more like a thieving trip to the weapon factories of Villengard, as well as the banana groves of Villengard afterwords. The Master also allows the Corsair to keep the sonic drill she had originally pilfered off of him.
  • The Doctor receives a photo of her and the Master back in their Academy days, along with an apology letter.
• Veleg's Christmas gifts in the holiday special. There are several, including individual gifts, but chief among them are a set of communicators that will allow the group to stay in touch with each other.
