He'd been listening to the entire conversation, although he has no idea what the group is actually talking about. "But," he says, "it sounds like you're doing something good."

- Meatstick, who has reunited with the Doctor, needs to explain where he's been and what happened. However, Matt, who had been absent the past couple episodes and didn't have the time to confer with Eric, actually has no idea, forcing Eric to exposit all the necessary information. Instead of having to repeat the same information in-character as Meatstick, Matt elects to simply mime his explanation as Eric talks, in a bit of "reverse voice-acting."

- Finn's plea that the group needs to get an injured Meatstick to a doctor—a real doctor—elicits an unhelpful mocking chuckle from the Master.

The Master: [In an exaggerated, high-pitched child's voice] Doctor, help, help! Our universe is collapsing!

The Doctor: Yeah, a bit.
Metacrisis Doctor: Is the one with the fuzzy hair the Master?
The Doctor: ...Yeah, a bit.

- The Master's reaction to seeing the real Rose for the first time, who he'd previously seen as a vision in the Doctor's mind.
