Heartwarming / DC vs. Vampires

• When the Waynes regroup at Gotham Harbor following the explosion at the Batcave, Damian immediately goes over to hug Alfred in relief that he's alive.
• Though it doesn't end well for him, Jason refuses to leave Damian behind with the vampirised Dick and Diana.
  Jason: (refering to Cass Cain) Get her on the boat. I'll go get the kid.
  Oliver: It's too late for him. Come on.
  Jason: I have to try.
• In Hunters #1, Despite having become King of the Vampires, Dick still cares enough for Damian to let him go after the failed assassination attempt. He then lets both Alfred and Damian walk free, even though Damian is severely injured and they're both completely at his mercy. He tells Alfred that he just wants to make sure Damian is okay.
• After having lost the people she loved gone through hell, Kara has reached the Bottled City of Kandor where the human resistance is hiding. Among the living, she finds Steel, who hugs her and asks:
  Steel: How are you, sweetheart?
  Supergirl: I'm still here.
  Steel: And we're thankful for that.
• Damian Wayne manages to sneak the Birds of Prey into Gotham, but only by (unknowingly to them) using Starfire to lure the vampire heavy-hitters (that include Black Adam, Power Girl and Wonder Girl) guarding it, knowing Nightwing would send them after her. Given their relationships is generally portrayed as frosty or distant in main canon, it’s nice to see that one of Barbara Gordon’s main concerns is Starfire's wellbeing, citing Damian's ploy as one of the reasons she doesn't trust him:
  Batgirl: Starfire better be okay.
• For a year, Kara has been living under a darkened sky. She perseveres and fights to reach Australia, where the vampires have set launching pads for spaceships that can get above the atmosphere. Though the moment doesn't last, it's comforting to watch Kara's face as she sees sunlight for the first time in months, putting her hand on the window.
