    Can Ava write?
  • She became a tetraplegic at 8 years old, and judging by the books by her bedside she has learned how to read, and is shown in the series to be able to read (and even recognises Latin if she sees it). But has she learned how to write? And even if she has, she has had no practice since the accident. In the series she is never shown to be writing.
    • She leaves a note with Father Vincent at the end of Episode Three, escaping from the convent, writing, "I want to live." Granted, her handwriting is atrocious but that may be attributed to her inability to write anything for twelve years.
Where did all the Divinium come from?
  • It is said time and again that the only known source of Divinium comes from Adriel's armour, but throughout the series, it's shown that there is at least enough of the metal not only to arm a whole chapter of demon-killing nuns (and, presumably, others across the world), but also enough to create holy relics for the church, a large light source for the secret chamber where the Warrior Nuns' journal is kept and enough to build a large machine. Granted, it is later revealed that Divinium is actually demon bones, but it is implied that nobody knew that until Ava discovered a Tarask skeleton embedded in Adriel's tomb. So...yeah, where did all the Divinium come from? Because there's definitely more than a suit of armour's worth in the world.
    • The church clearly knows, or at least knew in the past. Remember, they put that skeleton there specifically to stop anyone phasing through the stone into the tomb. OCS doesn't seem to have a lot of Divinium, just a sword and a couple daggers. As I understand it, Divinium weapons aren't anything special except in the Warrior Nun's hands. They definitely said that only the sword and the halo combined could kill a Tarask.
    • I thought the Tarask skeleton was there because one of them tried to teleport into the tomb to get to Adriel? In any event, here's another theory: The Divinium didn't come from Adriel's armour at all, but rather, the remains of the Tarask that came after Adriel after he stole the Halo. Divinium is revealed to have come from Tarasks and during the flashback in Episode Ten, the Tarask's head is lying hidden next to a blacksmith's forge while the Divinium sword, Shield of Faith and presumably other relics and weapons were being forged.
    • The original legend was that it came from Adriel's armor however when he appears in the flashback for real (not the first time we hear the story) he isn't actually wearing any armor. We see them melting down the Tarask skeleton to make Divinium and they have besides that one, two other confirmed cases mentioned of Tarasks appearing and being killed by Warrior Nuns that they would be able to get additional divinium from (perhaps SOMEONE in the order knew the true source but kept the lie going by claiming they found more of the armor and since Tarasks arriving and being killed were events centuries apart it is possible for people to forget the truth again). No way they could tip arrows and make daggers for centuries without running out if a single suit of armor was truly the only source without any resupply.
