Fridge Logic

  • Could Sister Francis delivering the body herself be a way of covering her tracks in Ava's murder?

Fridge Brilliance

  • The very first sign that Sister Francis is a nasty piece of work is that the dead Ava's eyes are still wide-open and staring after delivery to the church morgue. It's the monk who has to close her eyes. Compare with Mary closing Sister Shannon's eyes not minutes after she's died. Sister Francis cared so little for Ava that she didn't even bother.
  • Adriel has been in contact with both Father Vincent, via his Divinium tattoos, and Michael, via his Divinium infusions. Arq-Tech's portal was built by Jillian interpreting Michael's drawings, which come from Adriel communicating with him. Adriel wants a portal to the other side, for some reason...
  • You can see Vincent's tattoos glowing in proximity to Ava and the Halo quite a bit before he reveals himself as Adriel's ally. Since we find out Michael, receiving Divinium infusions, has been in communication with Adriel, who can sense the pieces of his Divinium Armour, savvy viewers might have put two and two together.
  • Camila's rather ruthless moments (tranquillizing the harmless Sister Yasmine) seem almost out of character, until you realise her first mission was sabotaged by a mole. Of course she's extra cautious; the first time she ever fought with her Sisters, the Warrior Nun was blindsided and murdered.

Fridge Horror

  • We don't see many OLDER members of the OCS do we? The main teams and many of the background members all look to be in their teens or mid-twenties at the oldest. Besides the fact that depending on when they were recruited into the OCS this has them bordering on Child Soldier they optimistically either retire from field duty early due to injuries like Mother Superion or just have a very high death rate for many of their young members.
  • A Wraith Demon nearly possess Beatrice. The Fridge Horror kicks in when you recall just how skilled Beatrice is in combat and strategy. Now imagine someone like that on Adriel's team.

Fridge Sadness

  • The scene of Ava and Beatrice dancing and drinking in the first episode of the second season becomes tragic in retrospect, as it's the last moment the two get at a sense of normalcy and the life together that they wished for.
