Headscratchers / Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity

• Whatever the Arks of the Cosmos pick up shoots off after a while and explodes. In the scene where the Babylon Rogues find an Ark (technically the first cutscene) he ends up picking up Wave and Storm. Shouldn't they have blew up too?
  • That's simply so that the stages don't become cluttered with wreckage. They never really made anything explode...except for that one time.
    • But, at the same time, it might just be that it doesn't cause people to explode. Besides, on Mobius Strip, you aren't the one who activates any of the Gravity Actions which affect you, and yet you don't blow up. Instead, Master Core: ABIS picks you up using Gravity Dive. If we were going by the same logic as the first trooper was saying, then shouldn't Sonic and co. also get blown up?
• So, Sonic fell from a high place while Tails and Knuckles could fly..... and none of them did anything to help him?
  • Most likely neither of them could drop fast enough to catch up with Sonic in such little time. Given Sonic had the three of them prep their Gears, they probably also assumed Sonic would have a plan going into this. In addition to that Knuckles can only glide and parachute so him trying to catch Sonic would probably end with them both falling and since all of them had at least one hand full, it would be impossible to perform a Triangle Glide unless they all want to lose their gears.
