• Lila asked Snoopy to come and live with her, but we later find out that her apartment does not allow dogs. How did Lila not know that rule? The sign that forbade dogs in the apartment was right outside the front door of her building, and it's pretty hard to miss it, especially if you live there. You'd think Lila would have noticed the sign outside her own apartment building at some point. Plus, isn't that why her family gave up Snoopy in the first place? It makes the story pointless, because if dogs were allowed in the apartment, Snoopy would have been living with Lila this whole time and would have never met Charlie Brown. Did Lila forget why her parents couldn't keep Snoopy? Even more strange when she meets him at her apartment, she implies that her family is waiting to meet him again. But even if she didn't remember the "no dogs" rule, her parents should.
  • Unless they moved again and that was a different apartment then the one they first move to. Doesn't explain how she didn't know about the sign, though.
  • Possibly the apartment complex's policy toward pets had changed while she was away in the hospital. It's implied she was there for a long time, and her parents may not have had the heart to mention it to their sick little girl who was clinging to the prospect of getting her dog back.
  • She does facepalm when Snoopy points out the sign to her, though.
