• What's up with Chiemi's reaction to "god"? Is it a psychological condition, like Mitsuji suggested, just a Trigger Phrase, or something else? I know Haruaki explains it in one of the extras, but the explanation is difficult to understand...
• Why did Chiemi have a face full of blood and puss in the first ending?
  • Two possibilities: either the corruption manifested as blistering flesh, or as a yamibito, she was returning to her natural state. While most of the superstition surrounding the town's yamibito is, well... superstition, the fact that they're within a dream explains it.
  • With the feast being all man-made, there is no supernatural explanation as 'the corruption' is now dead at this point. It could be rabies, like what happened to Rikako in this route.
    • Rabies does not even begin to work like that, but this is a story that depends on dozens of rabid dogs following their training perfectly to Do In the Wizard.
• Why doesn't Chiemi or Haruaki try to kill Yasunaga or Tae when they reveal themselves as the Werewolves? They were going to eventually die anyway, not to mention that if one of them took the initiative, they'd have saved the other one, Meiko and (probably) Haru so why didn't they try to take them down with them?
  • Because Haruaki doesn't know that they were going to eventually die anyway. At this stage of the story, he still believes running away to be a potential solution. As for Chiemi, she doesn't care about winning the game as much as she cares what Haruaki thinks of her, so she hides how easy it is for her to commit murder and tries to enjoy the moments they share. The Haruaki from the later routes, who understands that simply running away isn't an option, would have absolutely considered killing the wolves and taking the corruption for himself though.
• Was it ever explained why they just stick with majority's vote when they decide on who to kill? For example, if they were in a 4v3 scenario (4 yomibito with no badger against 3 werewolves), what prevents the Werewolves from killing someone first to avoid being "cursed" and make it a 3v3 scenario? Any attempt that the non Werewolves tried to do would be invalid because they aren't allowed to kill more than one person each day.
  • Presumably, superstition or desperation that someone would break the rules if the wolves openly killed someone during the day. While Haruaki both doesn't believe in the superstition and figures there's a rational reason behind the curse taking others, everyone else would either believe in the curse and not want to get caught by it, or realizes that whichever person broke the rule on day one and got brutalized means there's still a threat for whomever breaks the rules. Chiemi does try this when she's cornered, and it does succeed, but by that point the humans have openly won, so there's no penalty that wouldn't happen naturally if she didn't. The only others who would consider it are Haruaki and Hashimoto, neither of whom were forced into that corner before giving up altogether.
• At the end of Wit, Chiemi and Mocchi eventually realized that the only way to kill the humans was to break the rules and murder everyone in one go. So they... stayed put for the whole night, killing only one person - Kaori - as per the rule, and tried to kill everyone during the day ? Why couldn't they just kill everyone during the night ? They could enter the houses by breaking the windows, or breaking down the doors through brute strength.
  • In Darkness, the same can be said of Kaori, who decides that she'll die and take her sons with her. The wolves spend multiple nights arguing about how they cannot focus yet on killing her sons, and at some point they come up with a plan in which Kaori has to be hanged for the good of the group. If Kaori has no regard for her life and everyone including her is okay with her dying... why not just tell her to go wild and murder everyone in one night ?
    • In the case of the first question: It'd make tooo much noise if they tried to break in and, from their point of view, it'd wake everyone up (remember, they don't know that they all get sedated at night). Also, there's the fact that both of them are insane and enjoy killing people and making them suffer, especially Chiemi. As for the second one, they aren't 100% aware of how the rules work; most likely Haruaki would've figured that it'd be too risky since breaking them could mean their death even if they did so much as to suggest it without stopping her.
• What's up with Chiemi's body falling apart at the end of the Yomi route? It's probably impossible to do by mundane means, and it doesn't seem to be Mujina's doing. Was it caused by dream shenanigans?
• Who is the child-like entity in the Mamiya's extra story? He talks like he is (or was) Shin'nai, telling to Mujina: "You were a weak god that had to follow my every whim". However, he seems to be far too strong to be Shin'nai. Interesting that Mamiya calls him the "crawling chaos" at one point, which is a well-known moniker for Nyarlathotep and meshes well with Lovecraftian themes of that story. But, again, why would Mujina have to obey Nyarlathotep?
