Yellowcoat Vacancy.
In "Maplin Intercontinental", it is agreed between Jeffrey and Head Office that Peggy will replace the Yellowcoat who leaves for the Bahamas, thus Peggy is first on the waiting list for a female Yellowcoat vacancy. So when Betty and Tracey informed Maplins that they would not be returning for the 1960 season, why wasn't Peggy offered one of the two vacancies? Or even given the third spot now that there would be four girl Yellowcoats?- Because Status Quo Is God? Either that or the writers forgot.
