Funny / The Young Victoria

Go To

  • After being instructed by their uncle Leopold about Victoria's tastes, Albert greets her at their first meeting and awkwardly shoehorns in that he was reading her favorite novel on the way. His brother elbows him.
    • Shortly afterward, Albert claims to like all the music Victoria likes. She makes it clear she knows exactly what he's doing. As she turns to leave, Albert blurts out that he likes Schubert, and he knows Victoria doesn't.
Victoria: [smiling] I don't mind Schubert.
  • Lord Conroy literally kicking the dog. Victoria's dog.
  • The Funny Background Event during King William's very public rant to the Duchess of Kent, Queen Adelaide is visibly (and unsuccessfully) trying to stop him, looking more and more uncomfortable. Not to mention the awkward silence afterwards.
