• Sherlock Holmes's excitement at finding piles of white powder scattered around the Bromsby mansion, considering Holmes's enthusiasm for certain white powdered substances in the canon stories.
• In the kitchen of Fowlett's house, Holmes's excited exclamations of "blood!" and "gin!" sound very funny, especially since he seems equally keyed up by both (though, you'd hope, for different reasons).
