- When Ujurak is taken to hospital while in human form, someone gives him a bear plush, which he names Purple Toklo.
- Being the Deadpan Snarker he is, Toklo's got the wittiest lines. At one point in The Quest Begins, for example, Toklo wonders what would happen if the trees got up and started dancing.
- Kallik and Lusa talking about other species of bears in the world (even black-and-white bears, which are most likely pandas), so Toklo gets fed up and says this:Would you two hush up back there? Chatter, chatter, chatter! Are you bears or are you magpies?
- "Flying didn't look particularly easy or safe for [Toklo]. He would rather much keep all his paws on the ground, thank you very much."
- Kallik jokingly asking when Toklo and Lusa swapped brains in Smoke Mountain, purely because of how out there a concept brain-swapping is for bears.
- The bears wondering whether they can eat a crashed car in Smoke Mountain.
- I SMELL SEAL, AND IT SHALL BE MINE!
- "You know what would be really unhelpful? If we were captured by flat-faces too. That would be spectacularly useless."
