• If you attack the teachers or arrive to class late, you find out the Principal to River City High is Abobo, who beats you up for being a bad student.
  • And he has the tendency to randomly bust through wall all through the game.
• It turns out the hostage the CEO of MERV wanted saved, Angel, to the point that he sent special forces after you, is actually just his dog.
• Mike doing his Body Sled attack on a downed enemy, sending them skidding along while he lays on top of them, chin propped on hands with the most cheerful "^_^" face imaginable.
• Different enemies have different attitudes when they jump onto you and wind up as part of a human totem, such as dropping the seriousness and looking all smug.
• Abobo's romantic dinner involves being knocked out by Misuzu and carried off on her shoulder.
• The game has its self-aware moments where even the main characters feels the need to point out how absurd something is, or how it doesn't make sense. In a number of those they nearly sound like they are done with it.
• At Merv Burger one of the orders you can get is a smile. Cue the cashier sighing before giving out the widest grin they can fake.
