SPOILERS AHEAD!

  • Andreas can be played with as much, or as little, tact as you want. For example, speaking to Niko about his wife's activities.
    — Do you know what your wife is doing behind the aqueduct?
    — Did you know who your wife is fucking?
  • Andreas discusses misogyny with Sister Illuminata:
Andreas [thinking]: Is it really that bad? Is being a woman really that limiting?
Saint Grobian: She's exaggerating! It's fine.
  • If Andreas tries to run after stumbling across Mathieu and Rüdeger's tryst, there is an extended chase out of the abbey. That tiny, nerdy-looking monk is fast.
  • The game allows you to be extremely (and hilariously) pedantic, to the annoyance of everyone:
Father Gernot: You exhumed the corpse of one of the brothers of this abbey.
Andreas: Technically we didn't exhume the body we just removed all the dirt on top of it.
    Father Gernot: Andreas.
Andreas: We put it all back.
  • Samuel the Landsknecht exasperatedly describing his job to boys well out of his recruitment demographic.
Samuel: Eh, [equipment costs] thirteen to fifteen gulden.
Hans: Damn, that's more than ten.
Samuel: ...Yes, it is. It's three to five more than ten. Do you have ten gulden?
Hans: Oh, no. I don't have any gulden.
Samuel: You see what I'm dealing with here, Maler?
  • Andreas can be openly disdainful of Lenhardt while out hunting with him:
Lenhardt: It is the nature of a wolf to feed upon sheep.
Andreas: You're a miller. You make flour.
    Lenhardt: I'M A MILLER WITH A GUN!
  • Magdalene can have a reputation for being prickly. Every time the option pops up is pure gold, partly because they're so unnecessarily cruel and partly because those on the receiving end genuinely have no idea how to respond.
If you died today your epitaphs would read "Three shitheads who spent every morning harassing girls in the commons. More likely they'd toss your worthless bodies on a compost heap and hope for a better return.

I didn't expect the town to pick a half-wit like you for the council, so I guess we're all disappointed.

(Otz telling her that the mural isn't much to look at): Neither do you, but the town has learned to accept it over the last eighteen years.
  • At confession, Anna stands close to Caspar as if she likes him. When she later admits to stealing, Caspar worriedly checks his bag.
  • The Hedonist conversation with Brother Mathieu by the shrine:
Mathieu: Do you doubt the miracles of Saint Moritz?
Andreas: Of course not, Brother Mathieu. Even I know there are some things a hand can do that a priest can't.
Mathieu: ...The Lord has protected my mind from comprehending whatever depravity you meant to imply.
  • With the Bookworm background, Andreas' Saint John's Eve confession is simply that he covets books too much.
Father Thomas: There are worse sins, Andreas.
  • Another funny one at confessions is Johan confessing to having a tryst with Kat on Saint John's Eve. Father Thomas is clearly fed up with the whole thing.
Johan Bauer: I don't mean for it to happen, Father. We just get carried away by Saint John's bonfire.
Father Thomas: Don't you bring Saint John into this.
  • Near the endgame, when Andreas suddenly takes a pickaxe to a wall Magdalene is looking at:
Magdalene: What is wrong with you?!
Andreas: Hm? Oh, many things, probably. Mentally and physically.
Andreas: No time to talk about that now, though.
