• Fridge Brilliance:
  • Wally speaking fluent Japanese. It seems incredible, especially since no one suspected it, but in Legends of Tomorrow, Thawne has already stated that a speedster is able to remember things much better than an ordinary person. Thus, it would be much easier for a speedster to learn another language, as well as retain that knowledge even without practice.
    • Additionally, Wally is both an engineering student and a (former) street racer. One of the things Japan is known for in America is their cars. Given that Wally has an established interest in cars and was even seen trying to invent a new type of engine, this would explain why he might have felt it necessary to learn Japanese: It's a lot easier to consult with expert engineers if you speak the same language as them.
  • They all expected Barry to return from the Speed Force as soon as the Speed Force Bazooka hits, and are grossly disappointed that "nothing" happened. It never occurred to Team Flash that it was all just a Delayed Reaction: Barry always arrives late. And he did.
