- Lyra’s mother, Emilia, falls pregnant just before falling under the siren’s curse, which removes one’s memories. At best, she would have a…reminder of a life she has no way of remembering. At worst, she would have no idea what was happening to her. Given her death in Hona's flashback, there wouldn’t be many sirens to be able to help her.
- Crim comes under this in light of Ian's falling under the Poseidon's control. In moments that he is, he gets eyes that are almost identical to Crim's. Could Crim have just been brainwashed by the Poseidon all along?!
