- It's never fully explained why picking up Eternity instead of Aelf's Dagger behind the sarcophagus leads to Adam being unable to battle Belial. Both have the ability to fire projectiles, and Eternity's is roughly as powerful, so this makes no sense other than as Plot Armor.
- Given how that location utterly conflicts with where and how you gain Eternity properly, I've always interpreted that one as being a fake.
- Given it is Belial's trap and that Belial is a demon of lies and creator of illusions, I imagine the sword only looks like Eternity and he placed it there solely so you would take it
