Fridge Brilliance:

  • Great actresses are able to perform in a variety of roles and control their emotions — either bottling them up or letting them flow like wine. Not only does this work wonders for politics, which requires a level head (she's a princess, remember?), said control over her emotions may have helped with controlling the Vibes.
  • Speaking of that game, the Theets' noses glow different colors based on their associated emotional states... or rather, their Vibes. Red for Anger and frustration; yellow for Joy and happiness; blue for Gloom and despair. There's no Scepter to be found, so it's all them.
  • Fans quickly noticed Peach having a deeper voice in some of the trailers, especially in her Swordfighter costume, but still sounding like her usual self as Patisserie Peach or when not wearing a costume. As it turns out, she's playing a character in each play, and great actors are known to be able to change their voice to suit the role they're playing. She even affects an American Southern accent into her voice clips as Cowgirl Peach.
  • Princess Peach: Showtime! shares the exact same acronyms as its predecessor only in reverse (SPP to PPS), that and combined with the numerous mythology gags the game has to Super, Showtime shows that while it isn't a direct sequel as many had hoped after 18 years, it still tries to pay a little nod and respect to its Leading Lady's first time in the spotlight.
  • Why did Grape get subjected to tragedy when she was trying to cause it to others? Those that have been around the theater know that tragedies in plays usually happen to those in power. So Grape unknowingly set the tragedy in motion, but not for the Theets, but for HERSELF.
