  • In "Last Killers", there's a scene wherein a mother Majungasaurus gets into a conflict with a male Majungasaurus during a famine and then kills and eats him (as well as feeds his remains to her young). Seems pretty straightforward, but there's a somewhat darker layer to this. The male Majungasaurus started the attack by briefly snapping at one of the youngsters. The female Majungasaurus was perfectly willing to concede the carcass to him before he had done that. Anyone who knows a thing or two about how certain large carnivores behave will know that this combination implies that the female might have started thinking that the male might not have been satisfied with the carcass...
