Eventually, even though the therapy seems to be working, Kaeloo drags Mr. Cat out of the doctor's office because of two reasons: the doctor liked Mr. Cat better than her, and she was bored of waiting so long for the session to finish. After that, Mr. Cat says he'll come back on Thursday for another appointment, but Kaeloo prevents him from going. She also gets mad at him for talking to her therapist on the phone later (although this is somewhat justified since he was talking about her). In the end, she sticks him and the rest of the cast into a clearly ineffective group therapy, where nobody is likely to get any help. In other words, Kaeloo just stopped her friend with psychological issues from getting help because she was too selfish to let him.
Mr. Cat suffers from paranoid schizophrenia. That means he regularly suffers from visual and auditory hallucinations, maybe even during the events of the episodes. Think about that.
