Fridge Brilliance

  • In retrospect it should seem obvious as to why Tork blew his engine up when testing out the Nitrox 3 and a half. He wasn't going in reverse!
  • Even though Taro says that he didn't know the Silencer posing as Kurt really was a Silencer, it's fairly obvious to tell that it wasn't Kurt. Kurt wears Orange see-through racing glasses, while the Silencer was wearing Purple opaque racing glasses.
  • The reason why Porkchop doesn't go to the other track in the Swamp Realm? Well, as we learn in the second movie, he is afraid of water. That track is directly above water.
  • Why was Taro even in the Metal Maniacs to begin with? Well, it's likely to assume that Kurt asked him to join to look after Markie! Kurt couldn't ask Kadeem, Dan Dresden, or Banjee to do it seeing as they all were working for Tesla and since Vert was already a part of the TEKU, Taro was the only person from the World Race crew that Kurt trusted enough to look after his brother!

Fridge Horror

  • The Teku and the Metal Maniacs are basically G-Rated/PG-Rated equivalents of a street gang and a biker gang respectively. Which leads one to wonder what they were doing before Tezla recruited them....
  • In the Storm Realm Markie consider scraping Monkey's car seat off of his car so that the car seat doesn't slow his car down. He was planning to leave one of his own team in the Storm Realm. And, as seen with Kadeem we know what happens to people who get lost. They die because they get stuck in the realms forever or they get turned into drones. Markie didn't know this but still...
    • According to Jeff in a reddit AMA, the Silencerz would pick up anyone who was lost in the Racing Realms. Hopefully they would get Monkey before the Drones did.
    • Although that's not much better, because for some unknown reason, the Silencerz violently oppose the drivers, even the ones from the World Race, even though the did nothing to them previously. Meaning that for some reason, the lost drivers had a Faceā€“Heel Turn and turned on their former World Race allies.
    • Actually, that situation with Markie and Monkey is easy to misread. He meant that he was about to scrape Monkey's car seat off and even told him to climb on. Monkey was just a little bit too hesitant in doing so.
