The ring of energy Godzilla Terrestis fires at the giant Rodan seems like an odd choice for the precursor to the King of the Monsters famous Atomic Breath, until you look back to the Showa Era and remember Minilla's Smoke Rings which were established to be a weaker form of Atomic Breath.
