Fridge Brilliance
- The "Love Detective Himuro" sidestory confirms that most people who aren't close to Shirou have a low opinion of him, misinterpreting his selfless nature as either a facade for ulterior motives or something that makes him a spineless loser anyone can push around. This feeds into his possible fate as Archer, who took this misunderstanding to its logical conclusion and died for it.
- Shirou recalls a night when he and Sakura were together in his room and Rider entered unexpectedly. Given later reveals, she was probably assuming that he'd be asleep and she could drink his blood.
