Keisuke refers to himself as a side character and the game as a side story, with even the chapters named "Yet Another Side Chapter". This is exemplified by the character designs. Unlike the colorful clothings of the Cyber Sleuth cast, Team Hudie wears very mundane clothes underneath the Hudie cloak. Keisuke wears a polo shirt and jeans, Erika wears a casual one-piece dress, and so on.
