Fridge Logic
- It makes sense that Father Peter falls in love with a hairdresser. His hair is the first thing he touches on screen, and he is very proud of it.
- Father Peter's hair grows between the seasons, after his girlfriend dumps him. He doesn't want to go back to her salon, and either couldn't or wouldn't find a hairdresser to cut it in the same style.
- Sarah is a single mother, and we never hear so much as a word about Orla's father. Whatever happened there surely caused or intensified Joe's Boyfriend-Blocking Dad stance.
- That or Joe was successfully able to scare Orla's father off and the reason he's so hard on Gerry is he's trying to do the same.
- When Clare's father is rushed to hospital, Michelle is the only one who knows what an 'aneurysm' is, and that it's not good. Her mother's a nurse, so she's likely well aware of medical terms and diagnoses.
- Michelle's mother Deidre doesn't tolerate homophobia against James ("I'm not gay!") because her cousin Rob is gay.
