Had Stephen Norton been alive in the New Tens, he could easily have fomented a civil war in Britain—or in the States even more easily—by playing off political animosities and giving all political sides—even/especially the extremist factions—genuine martyrs.
X probably wouldn't have cared about that. He seemed to enjoy tormenting on a far more personal level.
