Fridge / Bungo Stray Dogs: Dead Apple

• Why does the Info Dump animation at the start only show what already has been, and even shows us the plot-related stuff that already happened? And why does it stop after the Guild Arc, anyway? The movie fills the gap between the Guild Arc and the Cannibalism arc. When did Dead Apple come out? After the anime's second season ended...which ended after the Guild Arc ended. As such, the movie is supposed to fill in between the second and the third season as well. It's a very quick and elaborate version of Previously on… that also bridges another gap - between 'introducing' characters from the ADA to the ones from the Port Mafia.
• Green fog and red fog represent green and red apples, respectively.
• Akutagawa calling Rashoumon 'she' may reflect that Ibaraki-Douji, the demon haunting the Rashoumon gate, is often portrayed as a kijou, a female oni.
• I found that how Atsushi get his Ability back is quite... anti-climax: he didn't need to fight, just tell the tiger come back to him. Then I realized, before that, Yukichi Fukuzawa has got his Ability back with the help of Mori. Under the effect of All Men Are Equal, Beast Beneath the Moonlight has already get back under Atsushi's control (it didn't attack him anymore in that scene), he just has to accept it back.
  • The same goes for Kyouka, since this takes place after the Guild arc (so she already is a member of the Agency).
• Fridge Horror. Chuuya mentions Shibusawa was responsible for the deaths of six of his friends during the Dragon's Head Conflict. Given that he can use Corruption during the event, it must take place after Storm Bringer, in which he lost five friends to Verlaine. Given he was sixteen during these events, it means he lost eleven friends in less than a year.
