Fridge Brilliance
- The word "Belgae" comes from the Proto-Celtic verb "belg" ("to swell with anger/battle fury)", which fits how hot-tempered Beefix and Brawnix are.
- When Beefix and Brawnix march out their tribe to face Caesar, they tell their Gaulish rivals/guests to leave. It's not just a matter of pride: Caesar massacred the whole tribe of Eburones, sending them into extinction, and so they are expecting the same stunt and are planning a Last Stand to keep the Romans busy long enough for their families to escape.
- This is probably why Vitalstatistix wanted to help them, and did just that the moment he had an excuse: as a traumatized survivor of Alesia he knows exactly how deadly Caesar can be, and doesn't want a repeat on his watch.
