- So Muffy fakes a broken water main to get her friends to go to the well. The bucket falls in so one of them climbs down the ladder.... which breaks and they fall into the well. This was obviously the plan as all the "corpses" were down there to be found, but somebody could seriously have been hurt. This among other poorly-thought-out clues makes me think the B&B won't be open long before getting sued out of existence.
- The alternate ending mentioned here
would have put a darker spin on a bit of dialogue from the released ending note : When Muffy reveals that the whole murder spree was faked for a prank, she notes that she does have a secret, crazy twin, and it's Skip: She meant the "crazy" part as a light-hearted gibe at him, but in the alternate ending, Skip does turn out to be an Evil Twin - The beginning of the movie has Muffy putting mannequins together while preparing for the party, which seems puzzling up until the ending: It's never stated outright, but The mannequins were most likely being prepared to be used as fake corpses.
- She also props open the window that Rob and Kit use to get back into the house. So they can find the fake "Muffy and Buffy" height chart on the wall as well as the fake severed head meant to be the real Muffy.
