- Comments: Forget that Secret of the Ooze onwards ever happened. This is the TRUE sequel to the original movie. This fanfic keeps the tone of the first movie, has many call-backs and continuity nods to it, keeps Shredder as a dangerous foe, and expands the scope of locations and cast of characters very nicely. What makes it better was that it was written by a mother who went to see the original movie with her children and fell in love with the characters.
