Tropes

• Adaptational Early Appearance:
  • Shinsou Hitoshi from Class 1-C as well as Pony Tsunotori from Class 1-B were both introduced in Chapter 2 instead of during the Sports Festival Arc like in canon.

• Alternate Universe:
  • With so many self-inserts being in the same place at once, canon is all but thrown out the window.

• Culture Clash:
  • In Chapter 1, Sam thinks about the cat song, or Nyan Cat, which Canon!Uraraka immediately understands and points out. On the other hand, when Sam mentions 'tactile learner', Canon!Uraraka is clueless as to what the term means. Just goes to show how some things can transfer over, and others can't.

• Didn't See That Coming:
  • During the first day at U.A. in Chapter 2, Ochaco is surprised when Kirishima straight up asks the class who's an SI, and who isn't. She's also surprised that there are more people like her, albeit some with different circumstances.

• High School:
  • The main setting of My Hero Academia is at U.A. High school, so therefore most of the action takes place there. As seen in Chapter 2, the majority of Ochaco's time was spent either inside her homeroom classroom or out on one of the numerous training fields.

• Self-Insert Fic:
  • In the first couple sentences of Chapter 1, Sam self-inserts into Ochaco Uraraka, permanently altering the course of Canon!Uraraka's life.

• Trapped in Another World:
  • Sam wasn't expecting to suddenly appear in Ochaco Uraraka's body in Chapter 1. Despite the circumstances, both Sam and Canon!Uraraka have fought against the situation.
