- The Citadel Council doesn’t find out about Humanity (who are engaged in their own first contact war) until 2163, about 6 years behind from the canon 2157.
- The Systems Alliance doesn't exist, being replaced by the various Frontlines nationstates.
- Humanity's first (friendly) contact is with a race called the Omnear, who have only been mentioned offhandedly.
- The Battlestar: The Avenger Battlecarriers and Saipan class fleet carriers, with the latter leaning heavily more into their carrier role.
- Crossover: between Bio Ware’s Mass Effect and Marko Kloos Frontlines.
- Curb-Stomp Battle:
- The Lankies have the Citadel Council on the ropes at the start of the story, with the Citadel Council losing over 60 planets over the course of several years.
- 9 Avenger battle carriers with their escorts wipe the floor with a dozen and a half Lanky Seedships.
