Take a shot whenever:

  • There's a birthday party scene.
    • Two shots if they describe the food at the party and it's connected to the theme of the party.
      • Three shots if anything else at the party (decor, games/activities, etc.) is described and connected to the theme.

    • Two shots if a parent or the like misidentifies the music genre and the kid gets mad about it.
  • Someone uses the word "shall."
  • Someone gets sent to the Creepy Zoo.
    • Two shots if the kids defeat the robotic animals.
      • Three shots if they defeat them by urinating on them.
  • The writing gets Goanimate-esque.
  • You detect particularly blatant Author Appeal.
  • A family has a huge number of kids.
  • A kid adopted from another country has interests/favorite foods stereotypically linked to that country (ex. a kid from Japan being massively into anime and liking sushi).
  • Something very blatantly unrealistic happens.

  • Someone references PB&J Otter.
    • Two shots if the entry is basically PB&J Otter fanfiction.
  • Someone describes Christmas with their kids as being "ho-ho-horrible."
  • You suspect a case of Recycled Script.
  • The kids are punished or chastized for liking something the author doesn't, especially if they articulate why.
    • Two shots if it's a stupid reason.
    • Drink the entire glass if the author complains about "SJW propaganda."
  • An entry has unwritten sections.
  • A character uses a really lame insult.
    • Two shots if it's fruit-based.
