In general
- Drink when Wan Wan says "Itsumo genki na Wan Wan desu!" ("It's the always good Wan Wan!")
- Drink whenever U-Tan says "U-Tan, genki genki!" ("U-Tan is feeling great!")
- Take a sip whenever U-Tan laughs.
- Drink when U-tan references norimaki.
- Drink when the exercise song begins.
- Drain the glass if the episode either does not contain the song or uses an older exercise song in its' place.
- Drink when the song of the week comes on.
- Drain the glass if, in a newer episode, the song comes from a previous generation of the show.
- Drink whenever a nursery rhyme segment starts.
- Drink when the educational puppet show segment begins.
- Take two if, during an episode with U-Tan, Guu-tan is seen in the segment.
- During the "Dekirukana?" segment in an episode where the puppet is Kuu, drink if Kuu talks to the audience before the song starts.
- Drink if Kuu's parents are in the "Dekirukana?" segment.
- Drink if there's a non-educational segment that features the puppet character by themselves.
- Drink when a crafting segment begins.
- If it's a Yuki-chan era episode, drink a second time when Yuki says "Detekoi, detekoi, peek-a-boo!" ("Appear, appear, peek-a-boo!")
- If it's a Haru-chan era episode, drink a second time when Haru-chan uses her craft in a make-believe scenario.
- Drink when the characters say "Inai, inai...bye bye!" at the end of the show.
- Drink whenever Wan Wan becomes his superhero alter-ego Super Wan.
- Drain the glass if, during an oneesan's final episode, Wan Wan tells the audience that the oneesan is leaving.
