Noémie Merlant (born 1988) is a French actress.
Merlant began her career as a model before breaking into film with a supporting role in Once In A Lifetime. Her starring role in Heaven Will Wait netted her a César Award nomination. She has mainly worked in her native France since, and made her directorial debut with the movie Mi Iubita Mon Amour.
She's best known to international audiences for her lead role in Portrait of a Lady on Fire.
