Miki Yoshida
The main heroine.- Nice Job Breaking It, Hero: Miki doesn't heed Hiro's warning about not getting involved in Yumi's love life situation (by trying to make her unknown romantic rival, who is also one of their friends, back off from Yumi's boyfriend Kazu). Miki's meddling ultimately causes Kazu to dump Yumi on the same night and Miki's friends to disown her (due to Miki causing a few misunderstandings by having Loose Lips) for a good part of the summer before the truth comes out.
- Ordinary High-School Student: Begins the story as one.
Hiro Sakurai
Deliverer assigned to Fukushima. Has every intention of excelling at his job.- It's All My Fault: Hiro holds himself responsible for Miki being on the outs with her friends during the summer, especially when it is due to him not stopping her from meddling with the love life of her best friend Yumi when he had the chance.
Anra
Hiro’s strangely independent hold spirit.
Yumi
Miki’s best friend.
Reika
Hiro’s old flame, a Deliverer who threatens to expose his and Miki’s budding relationship to her superiors.
Akuzu
A high-ranking Deliverer in charge of most of Japan. His influence and rigid approach to his work makes him the greatest threat to Miki and Hiro.
Toshiko Yamada
A former Deliverer who vows to protect Miki and Hiro from Akuzu’s wrath.
Mother Freya
Goddess of Love and supreme leader of the Deliverers.
