Awesome Music / Mistful Crimson Morning

Go To

As is usual with creepypasta mods, it has a couple.

  • "Humiliation" starts off the week with a solemn-feeling song that fits how Squidward felt after his clarinet concert failure and becomes more intense towards the end as the music changes to metal.
  • "Doomsday" is a ridiculously great song for the final Red Mist song, with an epic backing track worthy for the finale of the "main" content. The track’s instrumental is led by a combination of tolling bells and an electric guitar that utterly dominates the instrument set, with some extremely satisfying riffs and shredding to be heard, particularly from around the midpoint onwards. Boyfriend and Squidward harmonise really well, with special attention given to the howling scream Squidward gives off near the end, really showing how he's at the end of his rope. The gameplay elevates the song to legend, however, with perfectly placed visual clues and setpieces that manage to perfectly convey the story of the creepypasta without singing a single lyric or saying a single word.
  • "Served" manages to combine a catchy-yet-somber beginning and a hardcore metal second phase into a real headbanger, and it changes up again at the very end to a slow section reminiscent of a classic western ending. Gets even better with the V2 version (or at least, the one that appears in the mod). It's given more time to expand on the notes, more instrumentals and a pretty good back and forth before the second phase.
  • "Dead Hope" is a high speed sounding theme with a leitmotif of "Grass Skirt Chase", while also using a cool sounding whistle in the mix to highlight that sound of urgency. Special mention goes to the section before the chase, where the song slows to give a "calm before the storm" vibe before running right back into hectic as Boyfriend flees from the faceless SpongeBob and Patrick.
  • "Dumped" is a rock-heavy sounding song that combines great vocals and harmonization with both Bootleg SpongeBob and Boyfriend's part, with a sick guitar solo at the end!
  • "Cannibalism" manages to make a funny Robot Chicken skit into an intense high speed song, with lines from the original skit flawlessly incorporated. SpongeBob's and Mr. Krabs' vocals being some of the best for the two in the modding scene is the icing on the cake.
