  • Even if he didn't enjoy doing it, Jack's kill-count of over 100 at the beginning is pretty impressive.
  • Elsa chops off the hand of one of her opponents, and when he has a potential advantage, she uses the arrows on the wrist-mounted part of it to finish him.
  • Jack's first happy greeting with Man-Thing, a great way of showing how awesome friendship can be.
  • Man-Thing bursts out of the bushes in front of Elsa, puts his hand on Jovan and burns the guy to a crisp in one swift move. A great introduction to Man-Thing in all his glory. For whoever knows fear burns at the Man-Thing's touch!
  • Jack and Elsa's plan to free Man-Thing working — it only falters at the end because, as a werewolf, Jack is also weakened by the Bloodstone.
  • Jack being able to control the Werewolf inside of him and not harming Elsa when he is forced to transform.
  • Mixed with Nightmare Fuel: the masterfully shot scene of Elsa reacting to Jack's transformation, seeing the shadows as he slowly becomes the Werewolf by Night.
  • The hallway fight scene with the Werewolf by Night curbstomping the guards that came to stop him, in particular the long shot where blood from certain kills lingers on the camera.
  • Elsa taking down two more skilled hunters with swords; the first she knocks to the ground and slits the throat of by pulling her sword back, and the second she first slits the throat of, then embeds her sword in the skull just for brutality points; at that point, the quick neck-snap Elsa follows up with is a mercy.
  • Elsa's Big Damn Heroes when she manages to stop her stepmom from blasting Jack with the Bloodstone's power with the grappling hook, then bravely approaching the Werewolf despite not knowing if he would still remember her after the brutal fight he just endured.
  • Man-Thing saving Elsa from Verussa when she just decided to shoot Elsa in anger after everything that happened, catharticly immolating her before tossing the charred corpse aside directly into Ulysses's coffin.
  • The special restores color to the film as Elsa gets the Bloodstone and her title, having claimed the house as her new kingdom.
