• Will, at the climax, jumping into the back of a speeding truck and then jumping into the front of the runaway train and stopping it, all with a gravely injured foot and against the wind.
• Frank running along the roof of the train applying the brakes on each car by hand.
• It might not have worked out, but Judd placing his lashup of two classic diesels in front of two modern ones and 39 freight cars and hitting the brakes in an effort to slow it down, and Ryan Scott trying to lower himself onto the train from a helicopter took balls, and came pretty close to working.
• Ned's dogged pursuit of the train by car, eventually getting himself a police escort, and culminating in him helping get Will to the lead locomotive’s cab in the back of his truck.
