Dragonlord

  • Drika brings twenty men against Rien and Bastien. It takes them only a few seconds to prove twenty wasn't enough. Rien tops it off by picking her up by the neck with one hand and reminding her that he earned his reputation.
  • Maela and Rachel don't hesitate to join Rien and Bastien in the fight against the dragon
  • Lammert's Batman Gambit to neatly sidestep his own execution. He isn't kidding when he says that if he wanted someone dead, they would be dead.
  • Rien raises up an army of a hundred warriors to go kill the dragon. When the time finally comes to kill the dragon, it's done by two fighters with backup provided by two-bed slaves
  • Bastien kills the dragon just moments before it kills Rien and Rachel
  • Rien snaps the chain connecting his manacles to make it very clear to everyone that the only reason he's a prisoner is that he chooses to be.

Stone and Fire:

  • Jurgen sees his little brother getting picked on by a half dozen older boys. He jumps off a roof and delivers a No-Holds-Barred Beatdown.
  • Jurgen threatens to raise up an army and lead it against his mother if she doesn't do right by Lammert.
  • Jurgen manages to bed the King of Solsthriem in a threesome.
  • Liam uses his powers offensively by fighting a basilisk while blindfolded. Efua helps him focus his powers on the battle, meaning he knows every move the basilisk is going to make and how to counter it before it happens. The thirty foot long monster doesn't stand a chance. Mikaere, upon seeing the feat, decides Liam is the living avatar of a god. All things considered, Mikaere may not actually be wrong
  • The Last Stand of Pauwel Roem, the river an army could not cross. Two hundred soldiers hang back because they aren't sure he's actually dead and not a single one of them has the guts to go be the first to find out.

The Duchess

  • Ruarc proves himself Jurgen's equal, if not superior, in battle by going toe to toe with not only Jurgen, but Wendel.
  • Liam blew up a castle with a marble. It Makes Sense in Context. He's really not someone to tangle with when he decides to use his powers offensively.
  • Ruarc throws his sword, pinning Durante to a wall. Then he simply leaves him there to burn to death or bleed out.
  • How effectively the duchess manages to trap Ruarc in the first place.
  • Liam proves just how good a Manipulative Bastard he is. He won the game before it actually started and no one knew he was even a player. He comes out of it with a keystone, the absolute loyalty of a noble house of Thatela, and the fealty of one of the finest warriors in the world.
