• Gillian finally fighting back. Her evasive attack against Lani in the shower after discovering that she hid the fact that Mark visited their house to give her a box of choclates was enough of a reason for her to beat her and pull her hair back as she screams in her face. She also makes her confess about the stolen jewelry and succeeds. For good measure, she splashes her face with dish water leaving her sobbing for their mother.
• It doesn't stop there. As she was about to run away, she sees her parents and resorts to screaming at her for beating Lani. Gillian then calls out on her parents' treatment of her and how it is that she gets blamed for everything Lani does wrong. When the parents scream at her again, Boy defends her then tells them about Lani admitting to having stolen the jewelry. She's forced to come clean about it to the parents as well, crying once more.
• Andrew tricks Gillian by going with him to a motel, which basically counts as kidnapping and was obviously planning to rape her there. He torments her and asks if she was still a virgin. Angered, she delivers a Groin Attack, making him drop the gun. She finds the gun and points it at him. When she sees Andrew coming for her again, she shoots him. He doesn't die but is left critically injured. The quagmire leads to the events with the Ramirez' having to reveal about the switch as the Velasco's can no longer understand what's happening when they saw Patria crying on her son's hospital bed.
• In general, Gillian growing a spine and fighting back against her abusive "parents" and the relentless Andrew is awesome in and of itself.
• Mrs. Velasco near the end when she bitch slapped Patria under the exchange of her maltreatment of Gillian just right after she thanks them for raising Gillian. It's satisfying to say the least.
