  • She just may be responsible for the best-ever Tiny Desk Concert. It should be noted that Lizzo brought in the biggest crowd NPR ever had for a Tiny Desk Concert, and handled it with ease. Also, it features this quote, which quickly became iconic:
Lizzo: If you can love me, then you can love yourself!
  • Two full years after "Truth Hurts" was released as a single, it hit number one on the Billboard Hot 100 in September 2019.
    • This was right off the heels of her performance of the song (in a medley with "Good As Hell") at the 2019 MTV Video Music Awards, a performance that, in itself, is a Moment Of Awesome.
Lizzo: [during the bridge] Lemme talk to y'all for a second! I'm tired of the bullshit! And I don't have to know your story to know that you're tired of the bullshit too! It's so hard trying to love yourself in a world that doesn't love you back, am I right? So I wanna take this opportunity right now, to just feel good as hell! Because you deserve to feel good as hell!!!
  • Her host/musical guest gig on Saturday Night Live, where aside from becoming the umpteenth musician to prove that they're also a talented comedian, she became the first ever to introduce herself:
    "Ladies and gentlemen. . .me."
  • Her emotional acceptance speech at the 2022 Emmy awards when Lizzo's Watch Out for the Big Grrrls won in the Best Competition Program category:
"When I was a little girl, all I wanted to see was me in the media, someone fat like me, Black like me, beautiful like me. If I could go back and tell little Lizzo something, I’d be like, 'You're going to see that person, but bitch, it's gonna have to be you.'"
  • Although it was only for a few brief notes, Lizzo got to play the over 200-year-old crystal flute once owned by U.S. President James Madison. She was actually taken through the flute collection of the Library of Congress and allowed to try several of them.
